Our Hima-Layer™ Neema fabric consists of 20% yak wool with 40% merino and 40% recycled Coolmax polyester and comes in at 160gsm. The combination of yak and merino provides body temperature regulation and odour resistance, and the addition of the Coolmax Eco™ keeps the body dry.

Giving back to the Himalayan nomads

kora was founded with the aim of supporting the communities of the Kegawa Herders' Cooperative, by buying their yak wool directly to create our layers.

A collective of more than 90 families in the Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, our friends live all year around at 4,500m.

We buy this wool at a set mid-market rate throughout the buying season in order to offer price certainty, and in addition we pay a 10% stipend.

Best tank so far

I rely on Tanks to keep my core warm in cold weather. I consider them essential. Up to now, I've only used 100% merino wool products from a few major brands. I took a chance on the Neema fabric and have only good things to say. Its more softer, comfortable, fits better, and (maybe because of these things) its warmer. I'll definitely be getting another immediately. Thank you.

Snow Shoe Base Layer

Used the Neema tank twice this weekend, in Minnesota, for snowshoeing. Wore it under my Stratam Jacket @ 32F. Perfect! Light and breathable. Did not know it was there..

My go-to for warm weather

This shirt is light weight and comfortable, not to mention breathable and quick drying. Excellent base layer or warm weather shirt. Fits nice and snug on me at 5'10" 150lbs in the medium size. Neema blend is very soft. If you're looking for a nice sleeveless shirt and you like wool then you'll likely love this.
